Really excellent recipe. I did insert further fifty percent jar of sauce plus about a 50 % cup of pasta h2o. I also, sauteed a few cloves of new garlic with onion and meat and it tasted excellent.
Made for evening meal this eve: rapid, filling, excellent! Subsequent time I am going to keep lined entire baking time as I discovered I do not treatment for crunchy pasta. Phyllis, why on earth be so terrible? That is not only an unnecessarily unsightly tone of voice (screaming) but the terms are confusing. No where does the poster – or ToH – use the word Italy in this writeup. While it does use ingredients that are generally observed as “Italian” they are now so ubiquitous that several of these substances are used in factors decidedly not Italian. And with Italian foodstuff, as with ALL food items, there are a thousand ways of making the exact same dish – it truly is the pleasure of cooking, currently being able to place your own stamp on it. Lighten up, lady!
I have produced this a few moments now and it is really very good. My boyfriend HATES cottage cheese to the point it offers him the dry heaves. The 1st time I created it I experienced to cover the cottage cheese container and make it when he was not in the area. He ate it and cherished it – HA! Then I advised him it had cottage cheese in it. He still likes it. As others have commented, it does make a whole lot – adequate for two pans. I do include a small added sauce so it isn’t as dry and when I have leftovers I will add some sauce on the prime because it can dry out a small in the refrigerator.
I created this in the morning and stored it in the fridge to bake in the night. Excellent! I suppose it would freeze nicely, unbaked. You genuinely want a deep pan for this. Next time I’ll use 2 jars of sauce simply because it genuinely gets soaked up fast! Thanks for the recipe!

We all preferred the taste of this dish and it experienced sufficient meat and sauce for us general. I did truly feel that it was a small too dry when we obtained to the edges of the pan but I didn’t want to open an additional jar of sauce. It just failed to quite protect the total dish equally.
I created this for a luncheon meeting of senior single girls and nearly everybody experienced seconds! I did use a bit a lot more sauce. Definitely likely into my recipe file!
Delicious! My only complaint is that I felt 1 jar of sauce was not fairly sufficient as the dish appeared to soak up the sauce. I will incorporate a lot more subsequent time.
I was Extremely hesitant using the cottage cheese but I have to say this is possibly the Greatest baked spaghetti I have at any time manufactured. it was creamy, delicious and Very filling. The only alter(s) I created was to use 1-1/two jars of sauce and extra a Tbs of geared up pesto to the sauce (labeled only “marinara”)
